The 14th edition of the annual Warrior Competition concluded today, Thursday, at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC), in the presence of the Assistant for Operations and Training, Brigadier General Naji Al-Manaseer, along with several senior officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies, as well as several ambassadors and military attachés from friendly and brotherly countries.
In his speech during the closing ceremony, the Director General of the Center, Colonel Khaldoon Hussein Ersheidat, emphasized that the competition serves as a global platform that brings together elite special operations and counter-terrorism units from around the world. He highlighted its role in enhancing cooperation, exchanging expertise, and showcasing the latest technologies and capabilities available at the center.
Colonel Ersheidat pointed out that the competition incorporated advanced technological tools and training methods that simulate realistic operational environments. This enabled the participating teams to demonstrate high levels of endurance, combat skills, and teamwork — reflecting the essence of the “true warrior” in courage, discipline, and determination.
The closing ceremony featured a documentary film produced by the Directorate of Military Media, capturing key moments and challenges of the competition. Additionally, a traditional Jordanian folklore performance showcased the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service team secured first place and won the competition title, followed by the Royal Brunei Special Forces in second place, and the Royal King Abdullah II Special Forces in third. Brigadier General Naji Al-Manaseer presented awards to the winning teams and commemorative shields to the organizing entities and supporting companies.
The five-day Warrior Competition, which brought together 38 teams from 23 countries across various continents, aimed to foster the exchange of expertise among participating forces, enhance their efficiency, and refine their combat skills in realistic operational environments — embodying international cooperation and reflecting a high level of readiness to face modern security challenges.

اختتمت، اليوم الخميس، في مركز الملك عبدالله الثاني لتدريب العمليات الخاصة (KASOTC)، فعاليات مسابقة المحارب السنوية بنسختها الرابعة عشرة، بحضور المساعد للعمليات والتدريب العميد الركن نجي المناصير، وعدد من كبار ضباط القوات المسلحة الأردنية والأجهزة الأمنية، بالإضافة إلى عدد من السفراء والملحقين العسكريين من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة.
وأكد مدير عام المركز، العقيد الركن خلدون ارشيدات، في كلمة له خلال الحفل، أن المسابقة تُعد منصة عالمية تجمع نخبة وحدات العمليات الخاصة ومكافحة الإرهاب من مختلف دول العالم، بما يسهم في تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات، والاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات والإمكانيات المتوفرة في المركز.
وأشار مدير عام المركز إلى أن المسابقة استخدمت تقنيات تكنولوجية متطورة وأساليب تدريب تحاكي بيئات عملياتية واقعية، ما مكّن الفرق المشاركة من إظهار قدرات عالية في التحمل، والمهارات القتالية، وروح الفريق، مما يعكس جوهر "المحارب الحقيقي" في الشجاعة والانضباط والإصرار.
وتخلل حفل الختام عرض فيلم وثائقي من إنتاج مديرية الإعلام العسكري، وثّق أبرز مراحل وتحديات المسابقة، إلى جانب فقرة فلكلورية أردنية، جسّدت التراث الوطني الأصيل.
وحلّ في المركز الأول والفوز بلقب المسابقة فريق جهاز مكافحة الإرهاب العراقي ، وبالمركز الثاني القوات الخاصة من بروناي دار السلام، وجاءت قوات الملك عبدالله الثاني الخاصة الملكية في المركز الثالث، ووزّع المساعد للعمليات والتدريب الجوائز التقديرية على الفرق الفائزة، بالإضافة إلى تقديم الدروع التذكارية للجهات المنظمة والشركات الداعمة.
وتأتي مسابقة المحارب التي استمرت 5 أيام وبمشاركة 38 فريقاً يمثلون 23 دولة من مختلف قارات العالم، إلى تبادل الخبرات بين القوات المشاركة، ورفع كفاءتهم وصقل مهاراتهم القتالية ضمن بيئات و ظروف عملياتية تحاكي الواقع، مما جسد التعاون الدولي وعكس الجاهزية العالية لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية الحديثة.
