The Jordan National K9 Center (JNK9C) maintains the highest standards and aims to be one of the world's finest programs. Complete with support structures, training areas, and lodging, JNK9C is the only full-service K9 Training Center in the region. JNK9C offers kenneling programs that care for the animals as well as maintain their training while their handlers are away. Our trainers and kennel master can assure the facilitation of your K9s through airport procedures and transport them from Queen Alia International Airport to JNK9C. Combined with KASOTC's excellent facilities and staff are veterinarian services on site.

Handlers Class Dual Purpose Dog (Narcotics & Patrol or Explosive & Patrol)
Our handler class for dual purpose dog at KASOTC is designed to give the student the highest quality of training and knowledge there is. With our unique training facility and knowledge we are able to provide the most realistic operational training you can get.
The handler class last for 5 weeks (five days/week if we don’t address otherwise) and require a dog that is trained on all the most common odor’s, has experience in all areas and has a solid final response plus basic bite training. The dog can be provided by us or be provided by the client. If the dog is provided by the client the dog need to be evaluated by us minimum two weeks before the class starts. This is required to be sure the team will meet the standard we have. The class includes about 25% theory and 75% practical work. After the class the team will be able to work operationally with a high effectiveness. The maximum number of students in each class is 10, to ensure each team receives all the individual time and attention that’s necessary. The class ends with a certification of the team. The certification is a Pass or Fail certification. The handler will receive a certificate that is valid for one (1) year. Every year after graduation the team will be able to do a re--‐certification.

• Handling techniques (leash control, positioning, reward etc.)
• Imprinting and basic odor work
• Search in different areas (vehicles, buildings, luggage and open areas)
• Basic obedience
• Controlled aggression
• Basic tactical patrol work (building searches, area searches etc.)
• Handling of dog in public

Basic Explosive K9 detection course
This course is designed to train Explosive detection K9s and Handlers to be prepared and mission ready. Upon completion of the course, trainees must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Explosive Detector Dog certification test.
The course covers:
- Identify explosives and the characteristics of each type.
- Identify dog’s body and instinctive drives
- Vigilance and caution and understanding the behavior of the K9 (understanding and reading the K9).
- Environmental considerations.
- Clarify how to deal with explosive devices.
- Safety procedures for dealing with improvised explosive devices.
- Planning considerations.
- K9 deployment guidelines
Participants are expected to be in good physical condition, assigned to a Police or Military K9 Unit and must bring their own assigned K9.
Advanced Explosive K9 Detection Course
This course is designed to train Explosive detection K9s and Handlers that already have completed the basic Explosive K9 detection course and enhance the team’s capabilities in real combat situations and /or real mission tasks (realistic scenarios).
The course covers:
- Introducing K9 to large quantities that would be encountered in mission areas.
- Problem solving K9 issues. tactical deployment for all K9 capabilities
- Roadside IED deployment (route clearing)
- Commercial Bus interior techniques and under bus luggage scenarios
- Large quantities of explosive to meet real world missions
Participants are expected to have completed the basic Explosive K9 detection course as well as being in good physical condition, be assigned to a military/law enforcement K9 unit, and bring their own assigned K9.
Basic K9 Narcotics Detection Course
This course is designed to train and prepare the Narcotic detection K9 and Handler insuring that they are mission ready. Upon completion of the course, students must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Narcotic Detector Dog certification.
The course covers:
- Identify narcotics and the characteristics of each type.
- Identify K9's body and instinctive drives
- Vigilance and caution and understanding the behavior of the K9
- Environmental considerations.
- Planning considerations
- Clarify how to deal with narcotic substances.
- Safety procedures for situations with hiding areas in vehicles and homes.
Participants are expected to be in Good Physical Condition, assigned to a Police or Military K9 Unit, and must bring assigned dog to course.
Advanced K9 Narcotic Detection Course
The objective of this course is to train and prepare the Narcotic K9 and Handler to be prepared and mission ready. Upon completion of the course students must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Narcotic Detector K9 certification.
The course covers:
- Problem solving any K9 issues
- Identifying mission task of each K9 team and determining plan of action
- Real world mission task for all K9 capabilities
- Identifying Hidden compartments in vehicles and houses
- Large shipping container search scenarios
- Commercial Bus interior techniques and under the bus luggage scenarios
- Large quantities of narcotics to meet real world mission
Participants are expected to have completed the Basic K9 Narcotics Detection Course, be in good physical condition, be assigned to a military/law enforcement K9 unit, and must bring their own assigned K9.
Basic K9 Patrol (Bite) Dog Course
This course is designed to train and prepare basic patrol dog Handlers and other K9 teams to be mission ready for any mission task. Upon completion of the course students must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Basic Patrol Dog certification.
The course covers:
- Basic K9 commands and how to enforce them.
- Psychology of the K9 and how it thinks.
- Handler safety, Dog bites.
- Proper Equipment and how to use it.
- Obedience.
- Basic search types (building, open area etc.)
- Scents: how they travel and why?
- Apprehension.
- Planning considerations.
- Handler and K9 protecting each other.
Participants are expected to be in Good Physical Condition, assigned to a Police or Military Unit and must bring their own assigned K9.
K9 Decoy Course
the course teaches students to read their dog’s body language, enabling them to use that information to enhance their dog’s abilities and advancing it to the next level of aggression, control or maintain its current level of training.
The course covers:
- K9 communication and how to understand it
- How to recognize the stress in the dog, know why and how to fix it
- Understanding how the K9 drives are used to build confidence in the dog
- How knowing the dogs body language can identify confidence or environmental problems
- How to build the Drive triangle
Participants are expected to be in good physical condition, and be assigned to a military or police K9 unit.
K9 Money Detection Course
The objective is to train and prepare the detection dog and Handler to be mission ready for any mission task. Upon completion of the course students must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Money Detector Dog certification test; a certificate that meets All International Police and Military Work Dog Associations standards.
The course covers:
- Proper deployment of K9
- What to look for before money detection
- Hidden compartments in vehicles and houses
- Counterfeit versus Real currency
- Different country currency
- Search safety and deployment

Police SWAT K9 course
The objective of this course is to train and prepare Special Operations K9 Handlers and insure they are mission ready. Upon completion of the course, students must successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 SWAT K9 certification test; a certificate that meets All International Police and Military Work Dog Associations standards
The course covers:
- Proper movement and approaches with K9 Team
- Proper tactical entries with entire SWAT team members
- Building searches with SWAT Team members
- Proper tactical approach to objective
- Off leash and long line building searches
- Shooting scenarios with K9
- Tactical movements using hand signals and voice commands
Participants are expected to be in good physical condition, be assigned to a military or police K9 unit and must bring their own assigned K9.
Special Operation K9 Course
The objective is to train and prepare the Special Operations K9 Handlers to be mission ready for any task. Upon completion of the course students will successfully pass the KASOTC K-9 Special Operation Dog Certification test; a certificate that meets All International Police and Military Work Dog Associations standards.
The course covers:
- Proper movement and approaches
- Tactical entries with entire team members
- Building searches with team members moving with dog
- Tactical approach to venue
- Stealth approaches and entries
- Off leash and long line building searches and clearings
- Shooting scenarios with K9 from handler and bad guys
- Tactical movements with hand signals and sound
- Chemical gas scenarios using K9
