For the first time outside the United States, KASOTC Hosts Regional Crisis Response Drill
King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center organized the regional multidisciplinary Humanitarian Response Simulation Exercise (IHRSE).The exercise was carried out collaboratively by the World Health Organization's Regional Office in the Middle East and Africa and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC).The exercise involved 65 individuals from 52 countries and non-governmental organizations in the Middle East and Africa. Additionally.
KASOTC's General Director, Colonel Na'el AlShqeirat stated that the favorable geopolitical location and the security and stability experienced by Jordan have created a conducive environment for the operations of humanitarian organizations.
These conditions support the training of personnel within these organizations, as well as their intended audience, in various training institutes and centers in Jordan, under the leadership of KASOTC, he added.
يستضيف مركز الملك عبدالله الثاني لتدريب العمليات الخاصة تمرين المحاكاة الميدانية للاستجابة الانسانية متعددة التخصصــــــات وذلك بالتنسيق مع منظمة الصحة العالمية للشرق الاوسط و جامعة هارفرد الامريكية واللذي يعقد لأول مرة خارج الولايات المتحدة الامريكية - بوسطن .حيث استمر العمل على التخطيط والتجهيز لمتطلبات التمرين من قبل المركز لمدة ٣ شهور وقد تـــم اختيار مركز الملك عبدالله الثاني لتنفيذ هذا التمرين لما يوفره المركز من بيئة تدريبية خصبة وميادين تدريبية متنوعة تلبي مـــختلف المتطلبات وتساهم في تحقيق الاهداف التدريبية لمثل هذه التمارين
وقال مدير عام كاسوتك، أن إن الموقع الجيوسياسي الملائم والأمن والاستقرار الذي يعيشه الأردن خلق بيئة مواتية لعمليات المنظمات الإنسانية، وأضاف أن هذه الشروط تدعم تدريب العاملين في هذه المنظمات، وكذلك الجمهور المستهدف، في معاهد ومراكز التدريب المختلفة في الأردن، تحت قيادة كاسوتك
